The 29th Harvard APALSA Conference will take place in person at Harvard Law School on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Our theme this year is “Belonging”—for AAPIs belonging in American society, for us as AAPIs belonging with one another, and for finding belonging within ourselves as we navigate our own multiple identities.
We have invited a diversity of speakers—including judges, elected officials, private practitioners, and those in the public interest space—to share both achievements and challenges facing the AAPI legal community. We are pleased to feature Solicitor General of North Carolina Ryan Park, who argued the SFFA v. UNC affirmative action case in front of the Supreme Court this past October, as our keynote speaker. We are also thrilled to welcome Judge Denny Chin of the Second Circuit back to campus for a reenactment of the Vincent Chin trial as part of the Conference this year. Stay tuned for more details about the 29th APALSA conference and how to sign up soon!
