Will Stephens is currently one of the three managers of the “Public Advocacy Division” at the D.C. Office of Attorney General (DC OAG), which investigates and litigates all of DC OAG’s civil affirmative enforcement work — including civil rights, workers’ rights, tenant issues, consumer protection, environmental justice, antitrust, and nonprofit enforcement. Will joined DC OAG in 2019. Prior to that, he worked for 15 years at a private public interest law firm representing Native American tribes on issues related to self-determination, water rights, land rights, federal programming, construction projects, and environmental protection. Will also served for 8 years as a neighborhood elected official in the District of Columbia, and regularly performs in and organizes jazz events in and around D.C.
