Steve Boom J.D. ’94

Steve Boom is the Vice President of Audio, Twitch and Games for Amazon.com, Inc., with global responsibility for Amazon Music, Audible, Wondery, Twitch, and Amazon Games. He also leads Digital Acceleration, the company’s digital commerce technology organization. Having joined Amazon in 2012, Steve launched and developed Amazon Music into one of the world’s leading audio entertainment services, and is widely recognized in the industry as an innovation leader. Steve is also the longest-serving Chairman of the Board of Directors of MusiCares, the leading music industry charity.

Prior to joining Amazon, Steve spent 10 years at Yahoo! where he was Senior Vice President responsible for Mobile and one of the founding members of Yahoo!’s European management team, followed by several years leading and advising mobile Internet startups. He began his career as an attorney with Venture Law Group in Silicon Valley. Steve holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School as well as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an A.B. in History from Stanford University.
