Steve Boom J.D. '94
Steve Boom is the Vice Pres ident of Audio\, Twitch and Games for Amazon.com\, Inc.\, with global respo nsibility for Amazon Music\, Audible\, Wondery\, Twitch\, and Amazon Games. He also leads Digital Acceleration\, the company’s digital commerce techno logy organization. Having joined Amazon in 2012\, Steve launched and develo ped Amazon Music into one of the world’s leading audio entertainment servic es\, and is widely recognized in the industry as an innovation leader. Stev e is also the longest-serving Chairman of the Board of Directors of MusiCar es\, the leading music industry charity.
Prior to joining Amazon\, St eve spent 10 years at Yahoo! where he was Senior Vice President responsible for Mobile and one of the founding members of Yahoo!’s European management team\, followed by several years leading and advising mobile Internet star tups. He began his career as an attorney with Venture Law Group in Silicon Valley. Steve holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School as well as a B.S. in Ele ctrical Engineering and an A.B. in History from Stanford University.
