Salvo Arena is one of the leading members of Chiomenti’s M&A practice and Head of the New York office. Salvo is a trusted adviser for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on their most critical transactions with experience spanning the entire range of M&A activity, including many significant leveraged buyouts, minority investments, complex carve-out transactions, joint ventures, and cross-border transactions.

Salvo also has a broad-based transactional practice with an emphasis on clients in the sports industry, including teams, leagues and owners, media companies, private investment funds, and financial institutions, and he is considered one of the leading lawyers in  these fields.

Salvo serves as President of the Harvard Law School Association of New York City, Co-Chair of the International Section of the Harvard Law School Association, Chair of the Harvard Law School Association Private Equity Network. Salvo is dual qualified as an Italian and New York lawyer.

Salvo earned an LL.M. at Harvard Law School in corporate and finance law and a Ph.D. in M&A and a Law Degree from the University of Catania.
