Ryan Park is a partner in McGuireWoods’s Appeals and Issues and State AG Investigations and Enforcement practice groups. He litigates complex disputes in state and federal court, and helps guide clients facing investigations and enforcement actions by State Attorneys General. Prior to joining the firm, he served five years as Solicitor General of North Carolina, where he represented the state in its highest-stakes cases, including regularly before the U.S. Supreme Court. He attended Harvard Law School and Amherst College, and clerked for Judge Rakoff in the Southern District of New York, Judge Katzmann on the Second Circuit, and Justices Souter and Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. He also teaches courses on appellate advocacy and State Attorneys General at Duke Law School.
