Ryan Park is a partner in McGuireWoods’s Appeals and Issues and State AG Investigations and Enforcement practice groups. He litigates c omplex disputes in state and federal court\, and helps guide clients facing investigations and enforcement actions by State Attorneys General. Prior t o joining the firm\, he served five years as Solicitor General of North Car olina\, where he represented the state in its highest-stakes cases\, includ ing regularly before the U.S. Supreme Court. He attended Harvard Law School and Amherst College\, and clerked for Judge Rakoff in the Southern Distric t of New York\, Judge Katzmann on the Second Circuit\, and Justices Souter and Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. He also teaches courses on appellate adv ocacy and State Attorneys General at Duke Law School.
