Greta is the Chief Counsel and Senior Advisor to the House Judiciary Committee, where she advises the Ranking Member on complex legal, oversight, and policy matters at the intersection of Congress and the executive branch. Her career spans senior leadership roles in Congress and the U.S. Department of Justice, including serving as Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legislative Affairs and as Chief Oversight Counsel for the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. Prior to serving on the Hill, she practiced at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and served as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, litigating high-stakes securities, enforcement, and market integrity matters. She began her career as a judicial law clerk on the Sixth Circuit. She has also taught legal research and writing at Georgetown University Law Center and enjoys mentoring law students on building meaningful, public-impact legal careers across litigation, government, and policymaking.
