Allan Merrill J.D./M.B.A. ’03

Allan Merrill is a former senior hedge fund executive who specialized in merger arbitrage and event-driven investing. For the last five years of his career Allan was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Citadel, where he led three investment businesses. Prior to that he spent ten years at Eton Park Capital Management, where he was a Partner and Senior Managing Director. He began his hedge fund career after law school at Stark Investments.

Since retiring, Allan focuses his time on mentoring, volunteer work, philanthropy, and personal investing. Allan completed his J.D. and M.B.A. at Harvard in 2004, and has a BBA from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
