Join ALSA for a book talk with Harvard alum Cris Patvakanian to discuss his debut novel, In the Shadow of Mount Khustup, which highlight the local culture, landmarks and stories of people living in Armenia. The novel takes place in Syunik, Armenian and tells the story of a 2020 war veteran who has grown up in Yerevan but returns to his native village to work at the mines.
