Join Community Servings and the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation of Harvard Law School to celebrate the growth and advancement of the Food is Medicine (FIM) field over the last decade!
Our keynote speaker, White House Official, Catherine Oakar, Special Assistant to the President for Public Health and Disparities will join us to spotlight the specific inclusion of FIM interventions in the 2022 White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health Strategy and progress made since that historic conference.
The symposium will also feature facilitated discussions with Massachusetts Senator Julian Cyr, MassHealth’s Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives Gary Sing, and Connecticut State Representative, Jamie Foster. We will also hear from community-based organizations across the US to highlight successes in the field, such as utilization of waivers, coalition building, policy, and advocacy.
