Student Financial Services maintains contact with organizations offering a wide variety of outside resources. We regularly post information about these outside resources on this web page.
Current students can also login to the HLS Office of Career Services job database and search under “Diversity” to find more law firm scholarship opportunities for students from groups that are traditionally underrepresented at law firms.
Additionally, our partners at AccessLex have created a Law School Scholarship Databank. This databank has over 800 scholarship opportunities specifically for law students. Remember that AccessLex also provides scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $40,000 throughout the year to students who attend and complete personal finance activities through MAX. We had one $5,000 scholarship winner and one $25,000 scholarship winner last year!
This month we are highlighting Sallie Mae’s Bridging the Dream Scholarship of $10,000 hopes to help outstanding students from minority an other historically underserved communities attend graduate school. The deadline is October 25, 2021. A previous HLS winner is shown on the scholarship application page – maybe this year, it could be you!
See our list of past sources of outside scholarship funding received by HLS students for more details on additional application deadlines and links to program websites.
