Alex Feinson, Assistant Director of Admissions
Alexandra Feinson is an Assistant Director of Admissions. Alex has an Ed.M. in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining HLS, Alex worked in undergraduate admissions at Penn and MBA admissions at Harvard Business School. At HLS, Alex focuses on recruitment, marketing and communications, and sits on the admissions committee. In her free time, she likes to try new restaurants and tap dance.
Patty Griffith, Admissions Assistant
Patricia Griffith is an Admissions Assistant at Harvard Law School. Patty holds a B.S. in Child Development and Family Relations. Prior to joining HLS, she worked at a private school for students with complex learning profiles. Patty’s primary role at HLS consists of processing applications and completing related tasks during the admissions cycle, along with scheduling university visits. Her favorite activities outside of work include spending time with family and friends, attending Broadway musicals, and reading, especially on the beach!
Kristi Jobson, Assistant Dean for Admissions and Chief Admissions Officer
Kristi Jobson ’12 is the Assistant Dean for Admissions and Chief Admissions Officer. Kristi graduated from Harvard College and taught in New York City as a Teach For America corps member. As a student at HLS, Kristi participated in the Board of Student Advisers and the Women’s Law Association, served as a research assistant to faculty, and led the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender as co-Editor-in-Chief. Following graduation, she clerked for judges sitting on state and federal courts in Boston. Prior to joining the J.D. Admissions Office, Kristi was an associate at Ropes & Gray, litigating shareholder actions and complex commercial disputes. She also maintained an active pro bono practice, with a particular emphasis on issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community. Kristi enjoys podcasts, Spotify playlists, long-form journalism, and group texts with her law school friends. When she’s not in Austin Hall, Kristi can be found running by the Charles River or hanging out at Cambridge-area playgrounds with her two sons.
Tina Lagerstedt, Admissions Officer
Tina Lagerstedt is an Admissions Officer at Harvard Law School. Tina holds a B.A. in Political Science from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is currently studying towards her Ed.M. in Higher Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In her role at HLS, Tina participates in recruitment travel, application review, interviewing, and oversees the Admitted Students Weekends. In her spare time, Tina enjoys biking, going to local music shows, and cheering on her favorite team, the Boston Celtics!
Alessandra Luedeking, Admissions Assistant
Alessandra Luedeking is an Admissions Assistant. She graduated from Boston College in 2017 with a degree in English and international studies. Upon graduating, Alessandra served the remainder of the year as a sixth-grade social studies teacher in the Bronx, NY. She is currently the point-contact for newly admitted students, responding to emails and phone calls, the coordinator for interview scheduling, and the facilitator for post-admissions processes. Alessandra enjoys listening to film scores, watching movies based on true events, travelling, and exploring different types of cuisine.
Courtney McMann, Admissions Officer
Courtney McMann is an Admissions Officer at Harvard Law School. She graduated from Boston College in 2015 with a degree in psychology. In her role, Courtney provides operational support and participates in recruitment travel, application review, and interviewing. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring New England and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Bailey.
Nefyn Meissner, Senior Assistant Director of Admissions
Nefyn Meissner is a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions. Nefyn earned his Ed.M. at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and his B.A. at the University of Virginia. At HLS, Nefyn reviews applications, interviews applicants, and sits on the admissions committee. He also serves as a Proctor for the Freshman Dean’s Office and has formerly served as a BGLTQ+ Specialty Proctor and as a Teaching Fellow for the Department of Government at Harvard College. Originally from the rural South, Nefyn loves sharing Southern food with his New England neighbors and figuring out new ways to enjoy the winters in Cambridge.
Cindy Pariseau, Staff Assistant
Cindy Pariseau is the Senior Staff Assistant. She has been a member of the J.D. Admissions Office for over 32 years. In her senior role, Cindy processes thousands of applications received each cycle. In total, she has processed over 87,000 applications during her tenure at HLS. Cindy additionally handles accounts payable and the financial operations of the admissions office. In her previous years at HLS, she assisted the Program of Instruction for Lawyers (currently known as the Harvard Negotiation Institute). During her spare time, Cindy enjoys interior design, hosting family reunions, wearing colorful clothing, and achieving the perfect tan.
Jessica Soban, Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives and Admissions
Jessica Soban is the Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives and Admissions. Jessica is a graduate of HLS, Class of 2007 and Harvard College, Class of 2002. As a student at HLS, Jessica focused her studies in corporate and transactional law, and she was a member of La Alianza (HLS’s Latinx student organization) and Tax Help (pro bono tax preparation). Prior to attending HLS, Jessica was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company in the Boston office. Jessica returned to Bain after graduating from HLS where she worked in the Retail, Consumer, and Industrial Practice Areas, and finally as a Manager in the Private Equity Group. Jessica was also active in recruiting and professional development at Bain, serving as the lead for diversity recruitment for North America in her final year at the firm. Jessica was thrilled when the opportunity arose in 2012 to come back and serve at HLS. Jessica is a fan of the Boston Ballet, NASCAR racing, and all New England sports teams!
Odeviz Soto, Associate Director of Admissions
Odeviz Soto is the Associate Director of Admissions. Odeviz graduated from Harvard College in 2007 with a degree in history and taught at a boarding school in Salzburg, Austria, before returning to Cambridge for a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School (2011). Odeviz has also been the Senior Resident Tutor and Sophomore Advising Coordinator at Dunster House, Harvard College, for the past six years. Other work at Harvard has included positions as the Assistant Director for Summer Planning and Funding at Harvard College, the Admissions Officer at Harvard Divinity School, and a Freshman Proctor with Harvard College. Odeviz enjoys baseball, music, languages, good food, and travelling.
Ralph Vieux, Office Assistant
Ralph Vieux is an Office Assistant who is full of energy and positivity. He studied Seventh Day Adventist Theology and Religion at Atlantic Union College and Washington Adventist University. Ralph works at the front desk of the J.D. Admissions Office and is the point-person for all prospective applicant emails, phone calls, and walk-in visitors. He also assists with various admissions events and activities. Ralph enjoys sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, spending time with family and friends, photography, sports, and volunteering.
