eduroam Wireless Service
Eduroam is a secure worldwide federated network access service developed for the international research and education community. This service provides per-user, per-session encrypted network access for visitors from participating institutions, without the need to gain guest credentials on arrival to an eduroam enabled location.
VDIClinics Virtual Desktop
Provides a separate and secure environment for conducting work related to the Clinical Programs where sensitive/confidential client information is accessed, stored, & managed.
Virtual Desktop
Virtual Desktop is a secure remote desktop solution available to all HLS faculty and staff from any computer with internet access. Logging onto Virtual Desktop will allow HLS users access to the HLS applications and network data they can access from their office computer.
VPN
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) creates a secure connection between devices and University resources by creating an "encrypted tunnel" for the data communication. Many HLS and University resources require a VPN connection when the device is not connected via the HLS wired network.
Wired Network
A redundant, high-availability wired network is available in all HLS buildings.
Wireless Network
A redundant, high-availability wireless network is available in all HLS buildings. Available wireless networks: Harvard University - for faculty, staff, and students whose wireless devices are registered on the wireless network; Harvard Guest - for HLS guests who are not registered on the wireless network.
