More Information for Students:
Strong candidates are students who are seeking to complement their academic course work at Harvard Law School with practical, hands-on experience with organizations that work to effect change and address legal, political and social needs. Students should be able to articulate the way in which their proposed summer placements will help them to achieve their particular educational, professional and personal objectives. Although it is not necessary to have a confirmed placement before applying for the Chayes Fellowship, the application should demonstrate a thoughtful, considered and proactive approach to planning a summer project abroad.
Applications should be submitted to the Chayes Fellowship Program no later than February 1, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Applications to the Chayes program must include the Chayes International Public Service Fellowship 2019 Application Form and a copy of the student’s resume or curriculum vitae.
