PSVF Fellow: Ariel Ashtamker (J.D. '19)

Ariel will be joining the ACLU of Nevada in her hometown of Las Vegas. As a law student, Ariel worked at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic of Greater Boston Legal Services, DNA-People’s Legal Services, Pine Tree Legal Assistance, Earthjustice, and the Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles.

PSVF Fellow: Natalie Trigo Reyes (J.D. '19)

Natalie will be working as a staff attorney in the International Department of the Miguel Agustín Pro Juárez Human Rights Center (Center Prodh), one of Mexico’s leading human rights non-governmental organizations (NGOs)—leading the fight against government misconduct and impunity by defending and promoting the respect for human rights in Mexico, focusing on traditionally marginalized communities, such as indigenous peoples, women, and migrants.

PSVF Fellow: Elisa Quiroz (J.D. '19)

Elisa will be working at TRIAL International in Geneva, Switzerland. At TRIAL she will work as a staff attorney with the Investigations and Criminal Law Division (ICLD), which brings cases against individuals and corporations for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and apartheid.

PSVF Fellow: Tara Louise Casey (J.D. '19)

As a Kaufman Fellow at the Centre for Criminal Appeals in London, Tara will work with the Women’s Justice Initiative on strategic litigation and policy advocacy focused on appealing the convictions and sentences of women in prison.

PSVF Fellow: Kimberly Grano (J.D. '19)

Kimberly will spend her fellowship year with the ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties, where she will work with the immigrants' rights litigation team.

PSVF Fellow: Ali Szemanski (J.D. '19)

Ali Szemanski will serve as a PSVF Redstone Fellow at the ACLU of Pennsylvania, in the organization’s Pittsburgh office, where she was lucky to intern between her second and third years of law school. She will work as a junior staff attorney on the organization’s ongoing litigation, as well as help to investigate and develop potential new cases.

PSVF Fellow: Luna Borges Pereira Santos (J.D. '19)

Luna was selected as a Kaufman Fellow to work with International Planned Parenthood Federation, Western Hemisphere Region (IPPF/WHR). There she will work with their Rights and Justice Unit, mostly on advocacy, litigation, and in support to youth leadership to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights in the Americas and Caribbean.

PSVF Fellow: Sarah Blair (J.D. '19)

Sarah Blair will spend her fellowship year at Uptown People’s Law Center (UPLC) in Chicago, providing direct services to female prisoners and ensuring that their needs are addressed in UPLC’s ongoing and future impact litigation.

PSVF Fellow: Anastassia Baldrige (J.D. '18)

Ana Baldrige will represent individuals sentenced to death in their post-conviction proceedings at the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Community Defender Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

PSVF Fellow: Miranda Mammen (J.D. '19)

Miranda Mammen is going to work with the National Domestic Workers Alliance in Oakland, CA. Her project will enforce and improve labor standards for domestic workers across the state, including nannies, house cleaners, and personal attendants for elders and people with disabilities.

PSVF Fellow: Radhika Kapoor (LL.M. '19)

As a Kaufman Fellow, Radhika has elected to work at the Public International Law and Policy Group (PILPG) in Washington DC as a Law Fellow specializing in transitional justice for conflict-ridden and newly post-conflict countries.

PSVF Fellow: Alexi Jenkins (J.D. '19)

Alexi Jenkins will spend her fellowship year at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA), establishing clinics at domestic violence shelters in order to meet the family law needs of immigrant survivors of color.

PSVF Fellow: Milo Inglehart (J.D. '19)

Milo Inglehart will be joining the Sylvia Rivera Law Project in New York City on a Sumner M. Redstone Fellowship in Public Service. Milo will be working to improve access to health care for low-income transgender, gender non-conforming, and intersex New Yorkers through direct representation, coalition building, and policy advocacy.

PSVF Fellow: Jianing Xie (J.D. '19)

Jianing Xie will be working at Cabrini Green Legal Aid (CGLA) in Chicago, Illinois to establish a Family Defense Practice for the organization.

PSVF Fellow: Sara Oh (J.D. '19)

Sara will be working as a staff attorney with World Relief in Chicago, Illinois, providing legal aid to refugees, asylum seekers, and others seeking humanitarian immigration services.

PSVF Fellow: Madeleine O'Neill (J.D. '19)

Madeleine O’Neill will be representing indigent clients facing the death penalty as a member of the Capital Litigation Unit at Southern Center for Human Rights.

PSVF Fellow: Eliza McDuffie (J.D. '19)

Eliza McDuffie will be working at the MacArthur Justice Center’s Appellate Project in Washington, D.C., where she will focus on using appellate litigation as a vehicle for change in the criminal justice system.
