Abstract: The article discusses Virginia Senator George Allen's troubled history with the "N" word. Allen has denied multiple reports that he commonly used the word in college. The "N" world is the subject of considerable debate and cultural prescriptions concerning its usage are predicated on a racial basis. Allen is likely in so much trouble for his past because of past and present racist actions.
