Abstract: Halperin presents another look at choice of entity under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. He offers a conceptual approach to fully appreciate the actual rate of tax on corporate and passthrough income, following up on three earlier Tax Notes articles over the past eight years that had a similar goal.
