Liz joined the litigation team of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund in their Washington, D.C. office, where she fights for racial justice by litigating a variety of cases across the country in each of LDF's core practice areas: Criminal Justice, Economic Justice, Education, and Political Participation.

Jillian's work in the legal clinic of the Instituto para las Mujeres en la Migración (Institute for Migrant Women), an organization that works to protect the rights of migrant women and children in Mexico City, focuses on transnational family reunification, detention conditions, and trafficking cases.
