- Whether the a public university’s removal of part of a student organization’s website to prevent on-line publication of a student-authored research paper violates the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution
- Whether the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides a public university teaching assistant with a liberty interest in preventing the placement of stigmatizing information in his personnel file without a name-clearing hearing
