      • Professors Christopher T. Bavitz and Molly Brady will lead a dynamic discussion about ways in which artificial intelligence tools are shaping both the practice of law and the education of law students. The conversation will touch on the growing role of AI for attorneys, including use cases in private law practice and government, as well as questions about pedagogy, ethics, and professional responsibility. This session will also examine emerging trends, regulatory implications, and the evolving role of lawyers and legal educators.

    Freedom from the Inner Critic and Leadership of Self
    WCC 2004

    • In this training, Elizabeth Pyjov ’19 will discuss why freedom from the inner critic is especially valuable for lawyers and how they can use self-compassion as a tool in their everyday lives and careers. This interactive workshop takes a scientific, evolutionary approach to uncovering how the inner critic was created, what purpose it serves, and how lawyers can transform harsh judgments into wise discernments.

    Difficult Conversations: In Legal Practice, in Leadership, and in Life (Especially the “Life” Part)

    • This session will invite candid discussion about the challenging conversations in our lives—professional and personal. We’ll talk about why candid feedback is so hard, even as we know that feedback is central to our ability to serve clients, lead organizations, and continue to learn and grow in our most important relationships. Along the way, we’ll also talk about the new HLS Negotiation Requirement and how we are equipping HLS graduates to make a difference.

    Clinical Student Panel: Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program

    • The Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program (HIRCP) houses the Immigration and Refugee Clinic, the Crimmigration Clinic, the Harvard Law School Immigration Project, and the Harvard Representation Initiative. This panel will explain how the program trains law students, providing them with transferable legal skills while advancing immigration law. Hear from current and recent clinical students about their work on cutting-edge immigrants’ rights issues and how alumni can get involved.

    Special pop-up exhibits located in the Law School Library’s Root Room will be available from 3:45–5:00 pm, featuring early manuscripts, a deposition given by Wyatt Earp, materials from an infamous 19th-century murder trial of a Harvard lecturer, a selection of highlights from the Art & Visual Materials Collection, and much more.

    The Science of Willpower, Intentions, and How to Have Endless Energy
    Pound Hall 101

    • Informed by the latest research in psychology, neuroscience, and medicine, this session examines how willpower, burnout, and energy operate in demanding professional settings. The training will also explore why lawyers often feel depleted even when they are doing “everything right.” We will explore questions such as: Why do we sometimes feel like we don’t have enough willpower, even when we’re motivated? What happens when the bar of perfection is too high? And what can we do daily to have more energy?

    The Young and the Influential: Rewriting the Legal Scripts for Youth and Family Life Online

    • Hosted by section-mates Leah A. Plunkett ’06 (Meyer Research Lecturer on Law, HLS) and John Bash ’06 (Partner, Quinn Emanuel), this session will unpack cutting-edge trends in new state laws and key judicial decisions addressing the online experiences of kids, teens, and families in areas such as content creation and moderation, platform design, parental liberty, and child and teen health. We will discuss how this rapidly developing body of legislation and case law is resolving or complicating the daily dramas of online life that youth, families, and all of us experience.

    Tariffs and Trade: the Choices That Led Us Here and What Comes Next

    • The hyper-active tariff and trade actions of the current U.S. administration have been bewildering to many inside and outside the United States. But it is clear to those who have been on the front lines of U.S. trade policy and domestic labor policy, that these are the consequence of choices in law, policy, and politics that the United States and its leaders have made over recent decades. Drawing on their respective backgrounds, Prof. Sharon Block and former U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai ’01 will examine through conversation, the origins of today’s tariffs and trade turmoil, the latest developments, and where we as a nation – and as a world – go from here.

    The Harvard Election Law Clinic and Building Local Power

    • Launched in 2021, the Harvard Election Law Clinic trains the next generation of election lawyers through litigation and advocacy that bring novel academic ideas to the practice of election law. In this session, clinic director Ruth Greenwood and her students will share stories of their work to build power at the local government level for historically marginalized communities and to preserve voting rights.

    Campus Building Access & Event Name Badges Policy

    At Harvard Law School, all exterior doors are locked for the safety and security of community members (faculty, staff, students, and guests). To gain access to buildings, students, faculty, and staff are issued a Harvard University identification card (HUID) to tap at the card readers at each building. During Alumni Reunion Weekends and Affinity Celebrations, select doors will be temporarily unlocked; however, those doors will be staffed by the Campus Safety Securitas team. Alumni are required to wear and make visible their Alumni/Celebration Weekend name badge to gain access to the buildings. Alumni and guests will only be allowed in authorized buildings.

    Thank you for taking the time to familiarize yourself and adhering to the Event Name Badge policy. The safety of the HLS community is a shared responsibility and doing your part contributes to our collective wellbeing. We look forward to having you on campus.

    Emergency Alerts

    Guests visiting HLS during Spring Reunion Weekend are strongly encouraged to temporarily enroll in the University-wide alert system “MessageMe.” Guests will receive Harvard MessageMe alerts from HUPD or University leadership in the event of an emergency on campus. To enroll, please text HARVARDALERT to 333111. Temporary enrollment will cover the Reunion Weekend from April 10–12, 2026. Your phone number will be automatically removed on April 13.

    For general safety concerns or questions during Reunion Weekend, please speak with a staff member at the Reunion Registration & Welcome Center or call the Harvard Law School Campus Safety operations line at 617-495-5521.

    To obtain help for any emergency on the HLS campus and/or within the Harvard University Community, call the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) at 617-495-1212 or 911. 

    For Event Medical Emergency Services, the HLS Alumni Center has partnered with ProEMS for event medical coverage during your Reunion Weekend. An ambulance staffed by EMTs/Paramedics will be stationed on campus to provide onsite Medical Emergency and minor medical Issue (First Aid) care.

    Minor medical issues (First Aid) – For non-life-threatening concerns, please stop by the Reunion Registration & Welcome Center located in the south entrance of Wasserstein Hall (WCC).

    Blue Light Emergency Phones are located throughout the HLS campus. Please press the EMERGENCY BUTTON for any emergency situation (e.g., medical emergencies, fire, crime in progress). The EMERGENCY BUTTON will automatically call the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD). The police dispatcher will identify the location of the phone and dispatch police and other security personnel as necessary.

  • Cancellation & Refund Policy

    Cancellation requests received by Friday, March 6, 2026, will receive a full refund. Requests received between March 7 – March 27, 2026, are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

    Regretfully, no refunds will be processed (nor credit given) if received after March 27, 2026.

  • Children

    Children may attend as registered guests of alumni to daytime programming/activities (ages 6 and under are complimentary).

    Please keep in mind that young children may not be able to fully sit through Class Symposia discussions and presentations. Friday and Saturday evening meals will only be reserved for alumni and their adult guests.

    For assistance with childcare needs, we recommend reserving childcare through Care.com. In addition, most hotels, with advance notice, may also be able to arrange for childcare.

All items remaining in the coat and luggage check room after the below hours will be turned over to the HLS Campus Safety Department if on campus or turned over to the Four Seasons Hotel if at the end of the Class Parties. HLS is not responsible for any loss of personal property.

    Due to the capacity limitations of certain event spaces at Harvard Law School and nearby hotels, some events during Reunion Weekend may reach full capacity and sell out. These events include, but are not limited to, Friday and Saturday lunches, as well as Friday and Saturday evening meals.

  • Event Media

    When attending HLS alumni events, you may enter areas where photography, audio, and video recordings will occur. By attending these events, you are granting permission to be featured or included in photos and/or video recordings, which may be used for educational, archival, or promotional purposes.

  • Golf Carts

    Golf cart transportation will be available throughout Reunion Weekend. Please see the Reunion Registration & Welcome Center for more information.

    Wireless access will be available around campus during the weekend. To connect to guest Wi-Fi from a Laptop or Mobile Device:

    1. Connect to the network called “Harvard University.”
    2. Open your web browser and go to getonline.harvard.edu.
    3. Select “I am a guest.”
    4. On the following page, select “Register for Guest Access” and follow the prompts to log in and acquire Wi-Fi access.

    Please note that Wi-Fi access expires every 24 hours and will need to be refreshed on your device. Visit the Reunion Registration & Welcome Center for assistance.

  • Lactation & Parenting Support Room

    A lactation/parenting support room will be available in Wasserstein Hall (WCC). This private room has a sink, a refrigerator, and Medela Symphony pump available for use. For more information on how to reserve a spot, please stop by the Reunion Registration & Welcome Center.

  • Lost & Found

    Please report all lost items to the Reunion Registration & Welcome Center. We will do our best to assist. After Reunion Weekend concludes, all lost items will be brought to our Campus Safety Department for a temporary hold (up to 30 days). They can be reached by calling 617-495-5521 and pressing 1. After the temporary hold period, unclaimed lost items of value will be transferred to HUPD for further holding. They can be reached at 617-495-1783.

  • Optional Social Activities and Self-Guided Experiences

    Reunion alumni and their guests are welcome to explore Harvard Law School’s campus, visit special exhibits in the Harvard Law School Library and visit the local Harvard museums.

    9:00 am – 5:00 pm: Harvard Law School Library Open House and Special Exhibit in the Caspersen Room.

    • Located on the fourth floor of Langdell Hall, the Library’s Caspersen Room will have on display a special exhibit: Educator, Advocate, Scholar, Leader: Selections from the Charles J. Ogletree, Jr. Papers. The exhibit celebrates the career, leadership, and impact of late Harvard Law School alumnus and beloved professor Charles J. Ogletree, Jr. (1952–2023).
    • In the Root Room, special pop-up exhibits will be available, featuring early manuscripts, a deposition given by Wyatt Earp, materials from an infamous 19th-century murder trial of a Harvard lecturer, a selection of highlights from the Art & Visual Materials collection, and much more.

    Upon arrival, please stop by the Reunion Registration & Welcome Center to check in. You will receive a welcome packet and your official name badge for the weekend.

    Restrooms are located on each floor of the Wasserstein Hall (WCC); the first floor of Pound Hall; the basements of Austin Hall, Hauser Hall, Langdell North and South; and the lower level of the Science Center.

    Gender inclusive restrooms are located in the basements of Pound Hall and Wasserstein Hall (WCC), the first floor of the Lewis Center, and the third floor of Austin Hall.

    Please Note: Use 1557 Massachusetts Avenue (Lewis Circle) as your pickup/drop off location for both taxi and rideshare services. Do not depend on hailing a taxi from Massachusetts Avenue. Be sure to give your name and number to the taxi dispatcher.

  • Walk-In Policy

    We highly recommend registering in advance. If you are unable to pre-register, on-site registration will be available for events that have not reached their maximum capacity. On-site registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Please be aware that any special meal requests need to be submitted prior to the final registration deadline. We have limited capacity to accommodate on-site special requests.

    We are no longer accepting walk-ins for Saturday’s Reunion Luncheon or the Reunion Class Parties at the Four Seasons Hotel.
