On Wednesday, October 8, Harvard Law School honored the career of Professor Emeritus Archibald Cox.

Cox, 91, also spoke at the event following a video presentation on his experience as the first Watergate special prosecutor. Cox has served on the Harvard Law School faculty since 1945. He also served as United States solicitor general from 1961 to 1965. Cox, a 1937 graduate of the law school, taught courses in torts and in administrative, constitutional, and labor law.
