Harvard Law School has announced two senior administrative appointments.
In October, Mark C. Jefferson was appointed assistant dean for Community Engagement and Equity at Harvard Law School. Jefferson previously served HLS as director of Community Engagement and Equity and was promoted to assistant dean effective October 30. Jefferson will continue to work on issues ranging from academic advising to peer mentorship development.
In August, Adam Sherman joined Harvard Law School as the assistant dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs, overseeing the HLS Office of Academic Affairs. Sherman previously worked at the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, where he served most recently as assistant dean of Institutional Studies and Academic Services. Prior to that, he served as director of policy analysis and assessment in the Evans School and as special assistant to the Dean of the University of Washington Graduate School.
