“This weekend, more than 150 international law scholars from more than 35 countries will join us to honor Henry Steiner and Detlev Vagts for their distinguished careers,” said Professor David Kennedy, director of the European Law Research Center. “At the same time, we are inaugurating a new collaboration with the David Rockefeller Center and a network of Latin American legal scholars and holding a roundtable to assess Putin’s Russia in international affairs. It will be a rare opportunity to hear such a variety of viewpoints from around the world in debate with one another — as well as fitting tribute to our colleagues.”
