Current weather forecasts predict substantial snowfall and severe weather conditions in the Boston/Cambridge area beginning Friday afternoon and continuing through Saturday. The storm is expected to be particularly forceful during Friday’s evening commute. In light of this, the Law School will close at noon on Friday, Feb. 8.
All HLS staff will have an early release at noon unless their duties are essential to the school’s continued operations and cannot effectively be performed from home. Managers will be contacting those staff members whose presence is deemed essential such that they are required to remain at work after noon. If you do not receive such a notification, you may leave at noon and will receive regular pay for the full day.
Please note that the Law Library will close at noon tomorrow in keeping with the school-wide closure and will not reopen until Sunday at 9 a.m. During this closure, the library will not be accessible via the 24-hour swipe card mechanism. The WCC will remain accessible via swipe card throughout this closure.
Also, due to the Cambridge parking ban that goes into effect at 10 a.m. tomorrow, the parking garage at 52 Oxford St. will be open tomorrow to anyone with a valid Harvard I.D.
THIS ADVISORY WILL BE UPDATED AS NECESSARY.
