Guinier and Ogletree appeared with Linda Greene, a Professor of Law at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, on NPR’s “Tell Me More” with Michel Martin. The discussion focused on how Sotomayor could shift the ideological profile of the High Court. If confirmed.
Ogletree is the founding and executive director of HLS’s Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice. Guinier is the co-author of “The Miner’s Canary: Enlisting Race, Resisting Power, Transforming Democracy” (Harvard University Press 2002). Greene is a former counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she specialized in matters involving judicial confirmations, federal courts and constitutional law.
