During Spring Break, Harvard Law School staff and faculty volunteered as part of HLS in the Community Week of Service. Together they contributed more than 175 volunteer hours chopping vegetables, stocking shelves, and sorting clothing at three local service organizations—Community Servings, Cradles to Crayons, and Daily Table.

“I had the pleasure of joining the group that went to Community Servings. It was truly meaningful to work alongside colleagues from across all departments in an afternoon of collegiality and service,” said HLS Dean John Manning.

On April 20, the HLS in the Community bicentennial event will explore the law school’s local and global contributions of service with problem-solving hackathons, faculty-led sessions, and presentations from HLS clinics and programs. Sessions will focus on criminal justice reform, international human rights advocacy, small business and entrepreneur support, and more.
