The Harvard Law School LL.M. Class of 2019 recently welcomed faculty, family members, students and staff to the annual International Party in Wasserstein Hall. Each year the event provides a chance for the HLS community to come together to share international food and drink, cultural displays, and music and dance performances from around the world.

There are 188 students in this year’s LL.M. class, representing 65 countries/jurisdictions from Algeria to Venezuela. The LL.M. class includes 20 Fulbright Scholars, 18 Supreme or Constitutional Court clerks, 23 full- or part-time law teachers, and 8 current or former judges. (In addition to the LL.M. students, HLS has 63 S.J.D. candidates from 29 countries and the J.D. class entering in 2018 is 17% international.)
