Gov. Bill Richardson on Politics and Latino Vote

On Tuesday, October 7, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson will discuss the future of the Democratic Party and the Latino vote at the 2003 Wurf Memorial Lecture at Harvard Law School. The lecture will begin at 6 p.m. in the Ames Courtroom.

Prior to being elected governor, Richardson had served in a number of senior government positions including U.S. Secretary of Energy and Ambassador to the United Nations. Before joining the Clinton administration, Richardson represented New Mexico in Congress for 15 years.

The Wurf Memorial Lecture was created in 1982 by Harvard University and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees in honor of Jerry Wurf, the former president of AFSCME. This event is sponsored by the Harvard Law School Labor and Worklife Program.
