On Tuesday, April 9, The Interdenominational Alliance for Israel (IAI) and the Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA) will sponsor a lecture by Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz on “The Struggle Against Terror: from New York to Jerusalem.” The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Austin West classroom and is free and open to the public.

Dershowitz, an expert in criminal law and a noted civil libertarian, has recently created controversy with his proposals for national ID cards, torture warrants, and a stronger Israeli response to suicide bombings.

IAI is a diverse student organization from all religions and races dedicated to preserving the rights of Israeli citizens. JLSA is a cultural, social and religious organization with close to 200 members.
