“We are proud to claim Ken Mehlman as an HLS alum and we are thrilled to welcome him back to campus,” said Katie Biber, a 3L and the HLS Republicans president. “His commitment to public service sets an example for all of us. We hope that both Democrats and Republicans will enjoy hearing his unique insight into the 2004 elections.”
Before he was named campaign manager earlier this year, Mehlman served as White House political director. Previously, he served as national field director for Bush-Cheney 2000, chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Kay Granger and legislative director for U.S. Rep. Lamar Smith.
