Sophie Lenihan is a 2025 graduate of Harvard Law School and a Skirnick Fellow with Public Justice’s Students’ Civil Rights Project. As a passionate advocate for educational equity, her fellowship focuses on challenging discriminatory classroom censorship policies that create hostile educational environments for students of color and LGBTQ+ students.
During law school, Sophie was a Youth Advocacy and Policy Lab Fellow and participated in both the Education Law and Child Advocacy Clinics.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, where she studied psychology and education. Before law school, she worked for two years at an education nonprofit dedicated to increasing youth civic engagement.
