Oluwatobi Omotoso is a civil rights lawyer who has long been committed to service of the public interest.
While at Rutgers University, Omotoso served as a Senate committee chair in student government, a student conduct officer on the Scarlet Honor Council. They graduated from Rutgers summa cum laude with a major in history and political science, as well as an associates from the Eagleton Institute of Politics.
Omotoso then attended Harvard Law School, where they continued to seek out opportunities to empower underserved communities. Omotoso was editor‐in‐chief of the Harvard Law Record newspaper for his 2L and 3L year. They also served practice area ahead of the family law practice at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau; for his efforts the Bureau, Omotoso was honored with the Betty Allebach Award for commitment to public service by his peers and supervisors.
This fall, Omotoso will begin a one‐year fellowship with the ACLU of Delaware where they will work on educational equity projects affecting policies across the state.
