Equal Rights Advocates
San Francisco, CA
Lucy Cheskin will spend her fellowship year with Equal Rights Advocates where she will participate in gender justice litigation, with particular focus on gender discrimination facing women workers in traditionally male-dominated fields.
While in law school, Lucy served as the co-Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender. She spent her summers working at Public Justice’s Students’ Civil Rights Project and the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division’s Employment Litigation Section and completed clinical placements with Equal Rights Advocates and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She is looking forward to and grateful for the opportunity to return to Equal Rights Advocates to begin her legal career.
Lucy holds a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Wellesley College.
