Dane will spend his fellowship year with the Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA) helping victims of human rights violations seek justice through litigation in the U.S. and other jurisdictions.
Prior to joining CJA, Dane was a law clerk for the Honorable Anne R. Traum in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. At HLS, Dane participated in the International Human Rights Clinic and the Emmett Environmental Law and Policy Clinic. He was also Co-President of HLS Advocates for Human Rights, HLS’s human-rights-based student practice organization. Before law school, Dane worked as a law clerk for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Dane holds a dual B.A. in Literature and History from Yale University.
