Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy (CAELP)
Washington, D.C.
Ben Diamond will spend his year as a Langer Fellow with the Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy (CAELP), where he will support CAELP’s work advancing strong climate and public health regulations and developing creative responses to administrative law obstacles to environmental policy.
At Harvard, Ben was co-president of the Environmental Law Society, an Article Editor for the Harvard Environmental Law Review, and a participant in the Emmett Environmental Law and Policy Clinic for multiple semesters. He developed a strong foundation in environmental law through diverse internship experiences at a small public interest appellate litigation firm (Donahue, Goldberg & Herzog), in state government (the Environmental Protection Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office), and at a large nonprofit public interest organization (Earthjustice).
Prior to law school, Ben worked on macroeconomic and climate policy issues at Keybridge, a research and economic consulting firm in Washington, D.C. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2019 with a B.A. in International Relations and Economics and a minor in Spanish.
