The Graduate Program is pleased to present the 2023-2024 “Face Book” for LL.M. and S.J.D. students, as well as the exchange students and visiting scholars and researchers enrolled during this academic year.

The LL.M. Class of 2023-24

Of the 182 new students (of which 98% are international students):

  • 53% women, 47% men
  • 84% have 2 or more years of practice or teaching/advanced studies experience
  • 23% hold advanced degrees
  • 69 countries / jurisdictions represented, from Argentina to Zimbabwe
  • 19 Fulbright Scholars
  • 13 Supreme or Constitutional Court clerks
  • 17 full or part-time law teachers, 3 judges/magistrates, and 4 prosecutors

S.J.D. Candidates at a Glance

  • 48 S.J.D. candidates; 7 new matriculants in Fall 2023, plus 41 continuing students
  • 26 countries/jurisdictions represented
  • First-year S.J.D.s include two Supreme Court Clerks (Israel); a law firm associate (China); a researcher and book author (Canada); and a senior case and policy officer on a social media oversight board (U.S.A.)
