Luis Fuentes-Rohwer is a Professor of Law and the Class of 1950 Herman B. Wells Endowed Professor at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he teaches and writes in the areas of civil rights, legal history, and the constitutional status of the U.S. territories. He is presently at work on a book project (with Guy Charles) on the history of race and voting in the United States, forthcoming on Cambridge University Press, and a documentary about the constitutional status of Puerto Rico. He received a J.D. and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and an LLM from Georgetown. He was born and raised in San Juan.
