Summer in a State Attorney General Office
October 5, 2026

What’s it really like to work for a summer in a State Attorney General office?
About 50 HLS students worked last summer in blue and red State AG offices around the country. If you are one of those students, please join us for a noontime discussion to tell fellow students what it was like and what kind of work you did, whether it was interesting and meaningful, and more. If you are a student who might be interested in working next summer in a State AG office, come listen and ask questions of your fellow students. The discussion will be moderated by Prof. James Tierney, who runs the SG clinic, and Prof. Peter Brann, who co-teaches the class, The Role of the State Attorney General. Like State AG offices themselves, no lunch will be provided.
