Lunch Talk with Melanie Amann

Dr. Melanie Amann, a German journalist, lawyer, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Der Spiegel, is known for her incisive reporting on European politics and right-wing movements, including her book Angst für Deutschland on the rise of the AfD. The Harvard European Law Association is pleased to host Dr. Amann for a lunch talk on Monday, October 27, from 12:30 to 2:15 p.m. in WCC 4059, titled “A Journalistic Lens: Right-Wing Movements in Media and Politics.” Drawing on her legal background and journalistic expertise, Ms. Amann will offer insights into how the media portrays and engages with the resurgence of right-wing populism in Europe. Lunch will be served.
