Are you interested in gaining hands-on clinical experience during your time at HLS, specifically at the intersection of LGBTQ+ justice and anti-carceral work? During the 10/23 lunch block, Clinical Instructor Deborah Lolai is joining Lambda, QTPOC, and PLAP for a lunch talk regarding the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic’s newly exclusive focus on criminal defense, post-conviction advocacy, and prisoners rights advocacy. Before joining the HLS faculty, Deb was at the Bronx Defenders for nearly a decade, where they specialized in representing LGBTQ people in criminal cases, prisoner rights advocacy and other related matters.
