The James Green Memorial Forum honors a former American historian, author, and labor activist, James Robert Green. Green was a lecturer at the Harvard Trade Union Program and continued to teach for the program until his death in 2016. In concert with the HTUP, we are proud to present this year’s James Green Memorial Forum speaker. Harvard Professor of Latin American History John Womack Jr. will join for a discussion of his new book: Labor Power and Strategy. Professor Womack will be joined in conversation with former International Longshore and Warehouse Union organizer and book co-author Peter Olney.
