Harvard APALSA 2025 Conference
March 8, 2025
9:30 am - 7:00 pm
Milstein East and West

APALSA’s Conference theme this year is Presence: Our Time. The increasing presence of the AAPI community in public life has meant grappling with not only historical underrepresentation but also systemic barriers that have limited access to leadership roles and decision-making power. As the community navigates a new presidential administration, this Conference calls for reflection on the ways in which AAPI professionals can assert their voices. What does it mean to show up, and on whose behalf do we do so? How do we represent ourselves both individually and collectively? We hope to inspire attendees to think about how they can strengthen their presence in legal, civic, and general leadership roles.
We will be hosting an array of distinguished speakers —including government lawyers and officials, private practitioners, and public interest advocates — to share achievements and challenges facing the AAPI community in the law and beyond. We are also thrilled to welcome Judge Denny Chin of the Second Circuit back to campus for a trial reenactment. Additionally, all interested students are invited to attend our Speaker Reception and Career Fair to meet our panelists and representatives from a variety of law firms and public interest organizations.
