Omar Grant has overseen some of the most influential records of the last two decades and played a crucial role in the operations and success of Roc Nation. He began his career as an assistant tour manager for Destiny’s Child, later managing tours for each of the group’s members individually — Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyoncé. Grant began to serve as A&R for Roc Nation in 2011, where he was pivotal in the development of game-changing albums for artists like Rihanna, Mustard, Big Sean, Kylie Minogue and more. As co-president of Roc Nation Records from 2019 to 2025, Grant’s influence in the industry continues to expand as he works on records by some of today’s biggest names in music. In his upcoming book “Who’s Your A&R” Grant offers an exclusive insider’s guide to the modern music industry.
