Dismantling the Department of Education: Can We Preserve Public Education?

Join the Youth Policy and Advocacy Lab (Y-Lab) on Thursday, March 27, from 12:20-1:20, in WCC 5052 for a moderated discussion with Sky Kochenour, Legal Director of the Center for Law and Education. Sky will help us better understand the new administration’s attacks on the U.S. Department of Education and public education more broadly. We will consider what these policies mean for marginalized groups, including students with disabilities, students of color, and LGBTQ children, and what advocates can do to protect public school students.
