The Cyberlaw Clinic is Harvard Law School’s technology law and policy clinical program. The Clinic offers pro bono legal services to clients at the intersection of technology and social justice. HLS 2Ls and 3Ls enroll in the Clinic for credit and work under the supervision of experienced practitioners.
The Cyberlaw Clinic’s broad-based practice reflects the diversity of legal issues faced by those who create and use media, operate and communicate online, or seek to influence the development of technology policy and regulation. Students in the Clinic prepare for practice by working on real-world client counseling, advocacy, litigation, and transactional projects. With expertise in subject areas ranging from intellectual property to privacy to online speech to AI regulation and governance, the Clinic offers its clients a wide variety of services and its students a well-rounded educational experience that reflects the reality of high-tech practice.
Students interested in the Clinic for the 2025-26 academic year are invited to attend an open house on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 12 noon until 1:30p, in the Cyberlaw Clinic office suite on the 4th floor of the Lewis Center. Lunch will be served. Meet members of the teaching team, learn about the Clinic’s practice, and get information about clinical registration for the 2025-26 academic year.
