Join Thursday, May 1, at 12:20pm for a lunch talk in Austin 009 with Rev. Dr. Samuel Ling, President of China Horizon USA and Professor Emeritus of Systematic Theology at International Theological Seminary in Los Angeles, on the current and future implications of the intersection between Chinese culture and Christianity.
Rev. Dr. Samuel Ling was born in Hong Kong and is the 4th generation in the ministry. His family moved to the United States when he was 14. He received an A.B. in History from the University of Pennsylvania, M.Div. and Th.M. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. from Temple University (1981). He served in church planting, the pastoral ministry, and seminary teaching for several decades, and since 2000 has lectured in biblical and systematic theology, apologetics, biblical counseling, and worship in Southeast Asia and other countries. At present he and his wife reside in Kuching, Sarawak, East Malaysia.
