The Harvard European Law Association and the Harvard Law Artificial Intelligence Association invite you to join a discussion with Professor Anu Bradford to examine the contrasting approaches of the U.S. and the EU to tech regulation and how deeper structural factors — beyond regulatory frameworks — have shaped the success of U.S. in creating global tech champions.
Bradford is Professor of Law and International Organization at Columbia Law School and a world-renowned expert on the European Union, global economy, and digital regulation. She is the author of both The Brussels Effect (named one of the best books of 2020 by Foreign Affairs) and Digital Empires (winner of the 2024 Stein Rokkan Prize).
The event will take place in WCC 1015, starting at 12:20. It will be moderated by Alan Raul. Lunch will be served.
