David Lee J.D. ’98

David Lee is an experienced FinTech entrepreneur and veteran investment banker. Prior to founding WealthRyse, David had a career starting in law after graduating from Harvard Law School, followed by roles as an investment banker at Credit Suisse (now UBS) and as a private equity portfolio manager. He also held senior leadership positions on the buy side as an MD at one of the largest regional PE funds. Before founding WealthRyse, as a non-tech founder, David supervised the building of text-to-speech engines for large retail banks in Asia and portfolio management AI applications utilizing genetic optimization, which he patented with the primary inventor in the U.S.

In the coming months, David aims to create a platform and ecosystem for Private Bankers and advisors from banks and other financial institutions. This platform would allow them to log in, create, modify, propose, record, and rebalance portfolios for their clients, similar to how a sales trader uses a Bloomberg terminal.
