Join us for an engaging lecture by Prof. Konyin Ajayi, HLS ’82, titled Africa Reimagined: Progress, Promise, People. In his thought-provoking talk, Prof. Ajayi will challenge outdated narratives that reduce Africa to its extractive industries, offering instead a richer perspective on the continent’s dynamic human capital. He will also examine the complex legal and policy challenges involved in unlocking and sustaining that potential.

About the speaker:
Dr. Konyin Ajayi is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Partner at Olaniwun Ajayi LP in Lagos, and Professor of Banking Law at Babcock University. A Harvard- and Cambridge-trained lawyer and scholar, Dr. Ajayi is widely recognized as counsel and advisor in high-stakes litigation and arbitration matters. He sits on several boards and frequently contributes to national and continental policy reform. He is the author of several books and articles on law, theology and politics.
